Buzz Aldrin was the lunar module pilot on the Apollo 11 mission. Aldrin served as a US Air Force pilot before joining NASA in 1963. Aldrin was first launched into space on the Gemini 12 mission before taking part in Apollo 11.
After becoming the second man to walk on the moon, Aldrin left NASA in July 1971. Since then, he’s written numerous books, appeared in the reality television show Dancing With The Stars and guest starred in The Simpsons. He is also the founder of Starcraft Enterprise.
