8. THEN - David Scott
David Scott was the commander of the Apollo 15 mission, the fourth moon-landing mission. Scott and companion Irwin became the first people to drive a lunar rover around the surface of the moon.
Scott had previously worked for NASA and managed to log a total of 546 hours and 54 minutes in space. Following this, he served as director of NASA’s Dryden Flight Research Centre in California.
