Dwarf Planet Data

Ceres also known as 1 Ceres, is the smallest of the dwarf planets at present, in the Solar System and the only one in the main Astroid Belt. It is named after the Roman goddess Ceres - the goddess of growing plants, the harvest and of motherly love.

Ceres was upgraded from an Astroid to a dwarf planet in 2006
