20. Ancient Roman Oil Lamps, 1st-5th century AD.

Ancient Rome, c. 5th century AD. Redware oil lamp. Brown slip, wreath around rim and X in small discus. 4 1/8" (10.5 cm) long.
21. Ancient Roman Oil Lamps, 1st-5th century AD.

Ancient Rome, 2nd - 3rd Century AD. Redware oil lamp. With orange slip, raised rim around discus with rosette design. Floral motifs over body. 4 1/8" (10.5 cm) long.
22. Ancient Roman Oil Lamps, 1st-5th century AD.

Roman Egypt, 2nd - 3rd century AD. A redware lamp with a local Egyptian imitation of a type made in Asia Minor. Depicts goddess Kybele, wearing towered headdress, robes and veil. Below is a bucranium, three pellets. Numbers in red on the base. 4 1/4"

Late Roman / Early Byzantine terracotta oil lamp. 4th - 7th century AD. Cross over spout, still charred from its last use age estimated around  1,500 years. 85 mm (3 1/4 inches) long.

Ancient Roman pottery oil lamp, 4th-5th century AD. Can be described as thick and chunky in design, with 4 rows of raised dots around filling hole. Measures 3 5/8" (9.3 cm).

Ancient Roman terracotta oil lamp. 4th - 7th century AD. Ornate designs around, some red and orange paint on edges. 90 mm (3 1/2 inches) long.
26. Roman Terracotta oil lamp Circa 2nd-4th Century A.D.

Redware lamp with the profile of a lady on the discus, facing right with vine tendrils on the shoulder. Length, 11.5 cms
