About

Most, if not all;  cars I have owned in the past!
Some of the following are not the actual pictures of my previous cars, but as close as one can get to the model, colour and condition:

My Diary Of An
BMW Z3
At some point on my journey of owning these vehicles, I owned an MGBGT 1966, not sure when this was, before or after the Maestro can't be too sure. This was another great car and I had always wanted one since I was a child, black leather interior, overdrive, (working).. I had purchased a new stainless steel exhaust for it throughout, also all new tyres, however, it did like regular replacements of fuel pumps.
The fun of the classic car
ownership -
I even went to  'one' of the MGB Classic car Raleigh's at Silverstone - A great day! However, I hit and miss getting back home..... a case of a song and a prayer...like a squeaky chair ;)
This was a good fun car, but was not too practical, as I had a growing family at this time in my life. The MGBGT was not too reliable either on longer journeys' and one would always be looking, waiting and praying that it would get from A to B without any incidents. Locally it was ok, no problems of overheating or fuel starvation, as with the longer journeys;  these seemed to be  the main problems at the time.
Again, owning vehicles brings it's own individuality, a story and this one was no exception. During my time of ownership it did experience a backend bump at a set of traffic lights early one morning, (coincidently it was a rear end bump by an MG A,  nice classic car driven by  what one would describe as a intoxicated A-hole. I slowed down at at a traffic light on red, he failed to stop and just piled into the back of me!  The culprit's insurance company tried to wangle out of the classic car insurance responsibilities with my insurance company, using misleading tactics, and taking my vehicle away from my chosen MGBGT specialist renovation repair garage, as if through the decision was the direction of my insurers, taking it to some Renault dealership that would do the job cheaper? As was expected Renault did a poor paint match and were instructed to redo the repairs a couple of times by my insurers, (as they were really Pi@ed with them, however, in my eyes it was totally unsatisfactory repair job and yet my insurers eventually passed it. No doubt due to my misinterpretation of events leading to Renault in the first place, my 'bad' and incompetence. It was JUST a headache knowing I was scammed. My brother ended up taking it off my hands, I still don't know what ever happened to it to this day....and probably don't want to know, like all vehicles I have had that passed to him, no doubt another car graveyard, if so,  it would have been  another pity and a waste. One must always look forward.....
I think this brings me to the BMW e39 nope, in fact it was a Series 3 e36 :
