About

Most, if not all;  cars I have owned in the past!

Some of the following are not the actual pictures of my previous cars, but as close as one can get to the model, colour and condition:

I traded the Cortina MKIII for the Triumph TR7. Now, I really loved my TR7, however, finding spare parts for it was expensive, even though the manufacturers, 'Longbridge' was only just down the road in Birmingham (UK). I did have some engine problems with it and it did require a full rebuild, at this point I decided to drop it. The garage that bought it off me decided to take it up the motorway and blew the engine, so they were not too happy, it was their problem. Que Sera, Sera - What will be will be.

Some jobs I had, supplied me with various company vehicles after this sale and are not listed. Such as Cortina MK IV Estates keeping with tradition.
Another car, that was not really my choice and once one learnt the history of the Rover SD1 2600, one would normally walk away very quickly, I was just grateful to have a car and was able to drive idependently. It was in the workshop more times than it was on the road...also it was an automatic..what more can I say? When it did work, it was a comfortable car, spacious and at the time, a good looking vehicle. My vehicle had the chrome on the side and it really looked the part. I had trouble with the steering rack and nearside suspension, requiring a rebuild. Even after the rebuild I was not satisfied with it. By this time the paint was also very questionable, however no surprise after hearing the stories from ex-Longbridge 'workers'.... I sold it privately, I hope they have  forgiven me by now. Someone has said to me in the past, 'time does heal'.... maybe! Perhaps!
