Foreign Manufacturers - caution - see general notes - TEMU is based in Ireland TEMU is an online app that connects consumers with millions of merchandise partners, manufacturers, and brands. It was founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 2021. TEMU sources its wide selection of products from a global network of suppliers and merchandisers shared with its sister company, Pinduoduo 2. Although TEMU is headquartered in Boston, items listed on its website are shipped from Chinese factories or warehouses 3. [Battery and Engine Protection] This handy car battery disconnect switch system can remotely control your car power system. Protects batteries and engines and prolongs their lifespan. At the same time, thieves cannot start and steal your car, improving security.

Like all batteries they do need to be maintained and checked and possibly recharged as the battery gets older, however with a good alternator this will not be required for some time as the battery will be charged during one's journey most of the time.
One could possibly devise something like this by buying the components separately, however will most likely cost more in time and materials, price can vary between £14.99 - £50 depending on one's source.
I currently have a quick attach clip on my battery within the boot/trunk that I need to physically detach and lock the boot/trunk when I leave the vehicle. By using the remote, what could be easier?

There are battery drains on most modern vehicles today and it is usually
the battery that becomes a casualty and not forgetting the inconvenience of
having to charge or replace the battery, especially if the situation is urgent for one reason or another. Other side effects of a low battery may activate the alarm system due the power fluctuation disturbing the environment.
This is 'Old School' vehicle protection to prevent the vehicle being driven away by an opportunist and today we have the technology of remote switches we can carry to reactivate the battery each time we need to drive the vehicle. Ironically it is usually the alarm system that drains the battery and of course defeats the object of the exercise.
