The New Publication 'Modern Aviation' has now been launched with some new and updated topics, originally based in the 'Space' Publication'. New work will commence on the 'Space' publication soon, this will receive a new facelift, bringing it in line with the other publications later on this year if all goes well....

Over the past week or so, the site had been down periodically, problems due to the Mircosoft updates, a common fiasco we have all come to expect with no checking before going mainstream; so nothing new there it seems, however this has caused widespread problems to the website and has taken up until now, to rectify the damage. It has been a case of control management. These updates also knocked out my webcam, so not amused. In addition; I have also decided to use the 'Brave' and/or Opera Browser Platform and recommend others to do also, big improvements and better security with these browsers (personal opinion).

Space Publication facelift is taking much longer than anticipated, requiring assessment and possible updates, large site, will take at least to the end of the year for completion if not sooner based on editors and further research for latest updates - note some videos/topic areas may not function on existing space publication platform as changes are taking place and some being dismantled and some areas may not be updated. Media player update is also taking place, (apologies for current situation, better in the long term).
- Other publications on the shelf are also being updated as and when and will also take time. Let me know if you require further topics/content. Contact me on the above email - appreciated, regards

Sorry folks, some downage time due to some technical problems, some may have had problems getting into the publications - we have identified the problem with the router and hopefully fixed it - should be ok now.
Some work has been in progress to update the Space Publication, however there are problems arising in the configuration aspect or links - work is in progress to rectify the problems arising and may cause some disruption to the access to the site. Access to the Space Publication may be limited or no access for the time being. Apologies for this inconvenience.

Some slow progress, the transformation begins with the Space Publication, however is not as straight forward as one expects, pages are having to be rewritten one at a time....very weard as other publications when updated are ok...?
Space Publication re-development seems to be causing some problems, in the meantime the original publication has been reinstalled and will be regularly updated until further notice of the newer installation

Space Publication is progressing now, still unsure to what caused the problems with the links, however the pages are now responsive and the re-design is advancing slowly, still requires each page to be updated internally rather than having the completed modules attached... tedious, but working...
Even though the Space Publication Exercise has been attempted a number of times, 'gremlins' have emerged to fail the attempts. However, the current strategy has been more promising and reasonably productive and is progressing slowly. Out of the four phases of 'update and facelift'- the Theories Section is about very near to completion. (see 'Topics Currently Updated'...' side panel on right for progress)

Space Publication - Work is around 3/4 on the section 'Manned Space Flight,' and continues with the facelift with plenty of updates. This is taking times as there are many pages and patches for each individual section. This publication has proven popular as an archive and therefore has been re-organised and expanded with many New Menus, noting that due to the problems with the initial website design software and architecture the scheduled updates via the company is a 'hit & miss' it seems requiring major surgery on each update having to, in general, to correct some functions throughout the publication, ie. each page, (of many) individually processed rather than using 'Masters', tedious, I know...(too vast to start again, for now at least). hopes that the software company gets their act together . One benefit noticed this end, at least.... the site seems a little quicker. Whether this is down to the new Windows 11 O/S or down to the re-organisation of the space publication, one can takes their pick!....To keep track of the section being worked on currently, within the Space publication, see the column on the right.... note: other publications have taken a back seat for the time being and will be updated soon...so don't despair...very few staff this end.;)) Keep your email chats coming in......
