There are two mission patches for the Soyuz 3 mission. Embroidered on both mission patches are the words, which in Russian is pronounced Soyuz 3. The mission patch (Right)shows a Soviet WWII plane, symbolising Georgi becoming a pilot in the Soviet Air Forces and his fight in WWII. The mission patch (Left) shows a picture of Soyuz 3 craft, Argon, in space.
