Mermaids is a documentary originally aired as Mermaids: The Body Found on American TV channels Animal Planet and Discovery Channel. It tells a story of a scientific team's investigative efforts to uncover the source behind mysterious underwater recordings of an unidentified marine body. The show presents the generally discredited aquatic ape hypothesis as evidence that mermaids exist, along with a digitally manufactured video. A sequel broadcast called Mermaids: The New Evidence aired May 26, 2013. Some of us may argue, whether the documentry is based off a true story and some will ridicule it. Either way, it does open our minds to the possibility and may not be as far fetched as some may lead us to believe. Where there are myths, there are elements of truth. The establishments around the planet have overloaded the airways with fake stories to hide the true ones and visa-versa and that is why one needs to research the facts to draw one's own conclusions, without being told it is true or false. This subject of Mermaids is here, for individuals to start research on the topic and to decide for themselves based on the facts gathered.  This video has been taken off air in recent years, however a copy has been saved and may prove useful as a starting point in a programme of personal research...
There are more questions than answers, one can use their imagination and  open the debate to  USO sitings and alien Grays and also ask 'Could there be a connection? Has there been experimentation with genetics? However, considering the sitings have gone back centuries; it only shows as we create new technologies we should be open to new discoveries. The biggest question is; how will we react and interact without automatically going into defensive mode and destroying our discoveries or findings beforewe can  fully understand what we have found. If this is our reaction, should we as humans be exploring at all?
Can we afford to explore and research? Do we have more essential basic priorities to fulfil?
