Claudius Agrippina Junior 41-54 AD
Denarius of Claudius issued in his own name and that of his wife, Agrippina Junior, struck at Lyons, AD 51.
Agrippina Junior was both a niece and the fourth wife of Claudius. He married her in AD 49 and elevated her to the rank of Augusta shortly after.
* RIC I (1984) attributes the coin to the mint of Rome, but more recent numismatic opinion favours Lyons.Claudius Agrippina Junior
