I have been looking at this Fast Charge Unit recently and for the price it does seem to be very reasonable, especially considering it's coverage of Volt, Ampage and also it's general footprint. I have decided to try out this unit, it is documented to be a UK retailer and it is pending delivery....

I currently have a bulky 10Amp recharger that is rated at 12/6volts this is ok, however it is an old unit that goes back to the 1970s, (expensive at the time, for a wet behind the ears kid at the time, nothing wrong with that; if it works and it still does even today!) However, I do sometimes find myself in an environment whereby 12/24 volt systems are more appropriate and this featured unit does have a repair function incorporated into it's system. Everything today seems to have a computer CPU it seems. Is that a good thing? THE JURY IS OUT ON THAT! (One only needs to look at my cars to guess my thoughts on that one). This could help with the reconditioning of a battery that could have, in the past, have been scrapped based on not having access to this technology. Batteries are also being developed also beyond the 1970's technolgy. So for the price of this unit, why not?

Considering the smaller footprint, this will also accompany me with the small TopDon powerpack as also featured within this chapter. Hopefully these new tools will not take up too much room within the Z3.
