3 Main Wires:

1.Red = Accessory or turns on with Key   (Fused)  Positive + 12V
2.
Yellow = Constant 12v (also provides memory back-up)  (Fused) Positive + 12V
3.Black = GROUND (Sometimes x2 black wires) - Negative 0V
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Accessory Wires
4.
Blue = Remote Turn On 12V (power Antenna or Amplifier trigger)
5.

Note 1: there maybe other accessory wires, if not needed, terminate ends and tape off.

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR FUSE RATINGS AND USE A VOLT-METER IF IN DOUBT
Note 2: Main or positive (+) is usually signified with a solid colour
                    negative (-) is usually signified with a solid colour and a black strip going the full length of the wire

Note 3: For those new to vehicle/auto wiring, be aware that on German manufactured vehicles the earth wires are usually coloured brown, don't mistake this wire as being  'Live'; the tendency is to assume the UK mains wiring colour coding whereby the brown is normally 'live', a mistake easily done and can be very costly. You will definitely blow a fuse or burn out your system if you ignore this. If in doubt use an amp/volt meter to check...

Note 4: Try not to cut wires connected to fuses, filters, however it is acceptable to cut other wires to tidy up your harness and to make wires the same length to reduce the tangle behind your dash.

Note 5: By twisting the appropriate wires together, adding a heat-shrink collar, soldering the connection and then heat-shrinking; is a recommended form of wire connection, this is a preferred method to secure and insulate your connection. However there are other options.
