The rear wheel bearing was getting noisy making a metallic rotating sound.
In the video I show how to check the wheel bearing, and then replace on the car, removing as little as possible, using just a few tools bought from amazon.
This job is the same on many BMW Models.

Changing Bearings and dust shields, the process is near enough the same for most BMWs. Note: Later models have dust shields designed and manufactured as two halves to make fitting easier and without having to take out the bearings or diff. arms. Do shop around for your model vehicle. Most Z3s however have the full dust plate and therefore may need some fabricating, as the next video suggests:
