There is some room to cut some pipe from either one or both ends of the 'y' pipe and it should allow enough length for the sleeves however, by inserting stock exhaust into the 'Y' pipe could also help; allowing for a further extension of available pipe for both sleeves to over lap the stock and 'y' pipe, each end being able to obtain a good clamp and seal...

It is obvious from the image that the end 'B' is shorter and caution should be observed before cutting. Remember measure twice or as many times and cut once....
