Poem Title: Ghosts     Date Written: 15.08.24
Author: Nigel G Wilcox
At time when we are alone, we can sometimes question our very being. What is our 'faith', is it science, religion or some un-namely form of spirituality, manifested from our dreams and imagination?

Looking at our conventual belief system, at times we notice inconsistences, forms of hypocrisy, and because the writings are considered sacred to many, we don't question them. Why? What are we scared of? Are we not here to question, debate and establish the strength of our convictions such as faith?

There are those that will not question or debate, Why? Is their faith weak? Unfounded?

If we have faith after scrutinising what is said, then isn't it worth more and doesn't this become an anchor towards a pathway we are here to tread?
