46. Another Sip (46)

Self-pity, selfishness is all part of addiction, we all go through turmoil’s in our life, lonliness, unemployment and it can effect us in many forms, like eating disorders, mutilation, substance, drugs, all forms of self abuse. The difficult aspect is identifying, accepting and doing something to drag oneself out of the hell hole and having the reason or purpose to do it and that's not easy. Sometimes it requires outside intervention, sometimes it is through further devastating loss of family, health, self respect and the realisation you are hurting the ones you love. Unfortunately through time and ignored, for some, the mind and body is damaged beyond the point of no return, leading to the inevitable. I was lucky.
