With the events taking place over the last two years with Covid and quantifying the actions and/or inactions of many, one can only conclude that Western Society have just flipped or it has been on the slide for awhile! There are those with family members being issolated, some families never to see family members again to say goodbye, especially those in their twilight years. It is heart breaking and yet, there are those in seats of power that dismiss the idea, going through the motion of crodile tears becuaes that is how they should be seen. It is all about identity politics.
One can ask, where is the humanity, the morals or have we just seen it?
The poem 'The Theatre of Fire', the title has changed from ' The Theatre of 'Life, seemed more appropriate at the time of writing. The poem' suggests and highlights 'The Actors', the 'Script', and the Storyline. Woke, on the left and is very much like a TV Soap... as close to art, literature and culture as chalk is to cheese.
Does anyone have a chance to emerge from these murky waters of a muddy pool, back into the light, reality and common sense? One only hopes!
