Anglo-Saxon Pottery
Regia Anglorum
Pinkish unglazed ceramic urn
ca. 1850. It is probable that the urn was made in Missouri by a local potter. Pottery production began before 1833 in Boonville, Missouri, by Anglo-Saxon settlers, but by 1850 the German tradition of pottery prevailed. Missouri History Museum Collections
