1. Moneyer Beornner, +EADVVEARD REX, rev. moneyer's name in two lines with crosses between and above and below +BEORN / NER Mo, 1.67g, An excellent example of this type, attractively toned and almost extremely fine.
2. EXCESSIVELY RARE Edward The Elder Penny. Silver, 1.40 grams; 23.05 mm. Br. 13. +EADWEARD REX, around small cross pattee with inner circle. R. Moneyer's name in two lines divided by three crosses, bINEG+ +.+ FARMO, L[P]inegear Moneyer. Extremely rare moneyer. N. 649, B.M.C. ii, S. 1087. Recorded with the Fitzwilliam Museum at Cambridge University as: EMC 2006.TBA. Late II Mercian North East. Extremely Fine, virtually 'as struck' in a beautiful silver grey cabinet tone. A breath taking example. No coins of this moneyer recorded on the Early Medieval Corpus at the Fitzwilliam Museum (EMC) Cambridge University and only four examples in the Sylloge of Coins (SCBI) in the British Museum.
