Henry II 1154-1189 AD Plantagenets
In the 11th and earlier 12th centuries the designs on English coins were regularly changed, but in the reign of Henry II (1154-1189) the designs became 'immobilised' (left unchanged for a long period). Henry came from France and immobilised coins were common there.
