Skeletons as Forensic Evidence

Defects in a person's skeleton, (See also Skull Section) can sometimes be used to identify an individual, but this often requires a previous x-ray to match the identity, rather like that required of using dental records to make a match. Some specific defects follow below:

Sternal Defect
