New Changes for School Legislation in the UK on Genders
4:00PM . Sep 13, 2023
The Government have listened to parents concerns, this time around and have made changes to address the issue.
We all know why these changes have been brought about, and this is down to the elections being held in 2024, some may find this a cynical statement, however; it proves the very many concerns of UK citizens to the way this country is being manipulated by the WOKE or those that see themselves on the left of politics. It is a fresh breeze to be returning to Common Sense and the right track forward to the relief of the majority of UK citizens. Lives are already complicated enough without having added pressures and interference from misguided elected or non-elected individuals

Have the Majority of Parents been Allowed to Have Their Say?
Should transgender Pronouns be introduced in schools?
The introduction of transgender pronouns in schools is a topic that has sparked considerable debate. The UK government's draft guidance states that teachers and pupils are not compelled to use a child’s preferred pronoun. In primary schools, children should not have different pronouns to their sex-based pronouns used about them1. The guidance also emphasizes that parents should be involved in decisions regarding a child's request to socially transition, including changes in name, pronoun, and clothing.
The guidance suggests that schools do not have a general duty to accept all requests for social transition and should take a cautious approach, ensuring parents are fully consulted before any decision is made 3. It also highlights that social transition is not a neutral act and could have significant psychological effects on a young person2.
This is a complex issue, balancing the rights and well-being of transgender students with broader educational policies and parental involvement. What are your thoughts on this approach? (Ref:1 Tes.com, 2 Gov.uk, 3 news.sky.com)
