Left-Wing Education?

Top university professor prepares for 'war on woke' after being cancelled by his own students
'War On Woke!'
It is about time 'Common Sense' stepped in....?
The statement added: "It has policies in place to enable free speech and procedures to investigate and act on concerns, should it be notified of these.

"Professor Kaufmann left Birkbeck at his own request as part of a restructure supporting the reorganisation of our academic departments".
Story by Liam Doyle - Daily Express 02.10.23

Response of a 'non-woke academic
I can understand the mixed emotions one can have on exiting a job after twenty years, as the profession may be close to one's heart. I have also had a choice when it came to my study thesis at Master's Level - The topic was titled: 'Are Qualifications Worth the Paper they are Written on?' (or words to that effect). One can see the dilemma... I chose to write the thesis, however; I also chose not to present my study or findings and forfeited my over-all goal of attainment. (I did keep the couple of copies of my thesis to remind me of the hypocrisy within the system.

The purpose of teaching is to impart information that is non-bias and whereby the student can formulate from the research and debate the facts, to consider the pro's and con's from both sides and then to formulate their own ideas, hence the 'hypothesis format' Where is this today?

The cancel culture in terms of education is the 'lazy way' for one to meet their personal objectives, without exploring the moral implications consequences and accountabilities for personal or group actions/inactions to circumstances arising. Are their actions right or wrong? Has this been considered via societal norms and acceptances? If there is no debate or enquiry and action is taken by an individual or group (a minority), what gives them the right to ignore the status Quo? Is this selfishness on their part?

The term of those 'Far Right' has changed within the past decade, if not before. The far right today is seen as a grounding standpoint, or view, compared to those on seen to be on the left. The left represents a Marxist standpoint simplified to e.g. no one owns anything and what is your should be shared with everyone. Whether one has worked for it or not! However, quoting George Orwell "Some are more equal than others". In other words: 'Do what I say, not what I do!'

The British People Demand Accountability and Action to Rectify this Problem Today!
Has the Communism Model worked? This requires research with examples for and against - So far; it can be seen as an idealistic approach on a equal level playing field, however; this does not account for the variables such as for example: those currently within the positions of power and their narcissistical tendencies and attitudes towards their communities and country or extreme goals...
