Birmingham schools ranked as top ten revealed by new 2025 guide
King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys is one of the highest achieving schools in the West Midlands- King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys
From Handsworth to Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham's top performing schools have been named as part of the new Real Schools Guide 2025.
The guide, which was released this week, has ranked every single secondary school in Birmingham. The best ten in the city, according to Attainment 8, a measure of a pupil's average grade across core subjects, can now be revealed, with King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Boys taking the top spot.
The school was followed by King Edward VI Camp Hill School for Girls and Sutton Coldfield Grammar School for Girls.
It analyses key performance figures for each state-funded secondary school to see how they rank with others in their local authority.
The guide also shows you how each school’s performance compares to previous years, making it the most comprehensive guide to school performance in the country.
To view a school’s performance, simply enter its name in the search boxes below, where you can also specify a local authority should your school have a popular name.
Instead of a five-star rating system, we have simply ranked each school in an area based on its performance statistics.
