Note: Internal to the inboard USB, there is a low blue colour illumination led resistor, enough to show USB at night.
The cigarette lighter connection plug can be detached and the wire reattached onto the ignition system. This will declutter cigarette lighter plug socket availability. One will require additional purchases of an inline fuse connector and fuse and some knowlege of car rewiring. The additional inline fuse is for protection of ignition circuits and USB. When entering and leaving the vehicle and taking out of the ignition key, switching on/off of the ignition system, deactivates the USB and ignition system.

Notes on ordering: It is best to order two at the same time - from experience, by ording individually there proves to be a problem in getting the passenger or drivers side holder, even when the order is accompanied with notes to the supplier of UK right hand drive, driver's or passenger's side. left and right. Mistakes do happen, however it can be used also, to generate further business by the supplier through sending the wrong one. This seems common when it come to Eastern manufacturers and those also with warehouses based in the UK. Delivery times of 5 days via the UK, usually turns out to be 30 days+ in most cases. Be warned.
Another point: read the adverts carefully, some will suggest and show images of sets, it is common to only receive 1 item from the set, the advert can be misinterpreted as different trading laws may operate - If there is a set mentioned and QTY = 1 usually it means eg. 1 item from a set of 4. This has been the case on websites such as the likes of 'Wish' and eBay' dealing with foreign businesses. Use Caution as many foreign countries understand by returning products can prove as expensive if not more as the initial puchase cost and delivery. One ends up with nothing for the trouble. (ref: via personal experiences).
Additional Purchases: One can also purchase from various sources as additional, cup pads or coasters to insert into the cupholders. There are different designs to match the different makes of vehicles and are reasonably priced.
Note: After about 12 months these proved awkward, especially on the drivers side if not secured in some way and then it is prone to damage. I ended up taking one out. Passengers can also find them awkward and one usually if not secured, will find it on the floor after a drive.
