Workshop

When placing the gear into reverse, the camera light illuminates as with the reverse lights and the head unit provides visual display of what is behind the vehicle. If sensors are also installed,  there is an audible sound also (third party sensors will have a visual bar distance display monitor - see Reverse Sensors page 32 ), (Also, more on numberplate Pillar Lights page 47)

Note: Be careful when using scotchloks especially when splicing in a number of wires i.e. Sensor monitor for back parcel shelf, and reverse camera as I have done, I ended up breaking the reverselight wire and then having to reconnect by using  a 'chocolate block connector, not ideal but more secure and  works.
