Hello Internet Viewers, thank you for viewing The Paragon Website, it is much appreciated. Some of you may be wondering why this Multimedia /Entertainment Reference section has been added to my publication site, some may be confused as most DVD/Music Reference sites are trying to sell you the title or something in some form. This site was not designed to do that, like the rest of The Paragon Website it is designed as an information reference hub only. And not to sell anyone anything, this includes albums, tracks etc. Let me give you an insight to the reasons behind the publication.
The whole website was originally designed as a Reference hub for 'me' and for 'me' only, to refer to certain aspects of my hobbies, interests and initially my lesson plans for the educational profession and pursuits I followed. In the early days of computing, this could be done via a local IBM computer, via a basic modem and peripherals, mainly within the educational institutions I worked within, at the time. The original music and video titles were linked to the appropriate music or video tracks and could be accessed for the purpose of planning of my sessions. I was also working as a part-time DJ at the studio I frequented, the information was later accessed via my private network with the appropriate and updated security, as and when it was developed, however; on the public networks the access to these tracks breached copyright laws without the appropriate licences for me, that once covered me whilst working as a 'DJ'. Obviously, the links to the radio station after tenure could have caused bigger problems with the appropriate authorities. So, the listings provided on this site, with public access gives information only in terms of titles backgrounds and covers. By clicking onto the cover, (this provides a pdf - note a pdf reader is required to be install on your computer) and allows the researcher to read further or deeper information on the particular title, those that may be interested. Unfortunately for some, the media tracks cannot be accessed by those that wish to copy albums, tracks or videos for any reason on this site, at least.
I still wanted people to be able to access certain aspects of information for research, as the effort of collation would be a waste considering the time and effort spent and therefore has bee adapted, so many interested can benefit freely and is non-commercial.
The DVDs are or should be all up-to-date, and only provides information on the current titles within 'my' collection, the music collection however; is vast and will take some time to collate as one individual is limited to the time, occasionally needs motivation and will get around to it as and when, bearing in mind there have been a number of system crashes wiping out some archive's by a particular tech company 2025/2026 (backups were corrupt and so, on... and these have had to be rebuilt from scratch and this is where the motivation can be a little slow....).
I thank those that have sent me emails asking about this aspect of the site and I hope this has now cleared any potential misunderstanding. Non-Commercial, No-Profit, no provision for music, video purchases.
