Where there's a wish, a leaf falls
And time forgets as a breeze forms
To blow away a memory to dust forms
Building over years a picture is formed
As seasons come and seasons go
The layers disperse, and no-one knows
Once there – and on occasion, forgotten,
Until a thought of a raindrop is spoken
A smile on this day and a rose to you
As history bows a forgotten dream
For the present it is here again, once more...
And a grain of dust is no-more.
Until a day; tomorrow perhaps...
A path once trodden is unearthed
A meeting once more
Of a forgotten breeze of a leaf
And an eternal dream, the raindrop
Drips again.
