The Indian Navy special forces unit, the MARCOS, is one of the most well trained special forces in the world and they are specifically trained to conduct special operations in a maritime environment. They have been around since 1987 and have such a great reputation that enemies fear them, calling them the “Dadiwala Fauj,” which means “Bearded Army” (they disguise themselves with beards). While their exact size is classified, they not many people get accepted into their program because it is so hard to pass their tests.
