Here is another German special forces group and the Kampfschwimmer, which translates to “combat swimmers,” is the only special-purpose force of the German Navy. These members have to go through rigorous training and they won’t even accept anyone younger than 17 or older than 25. Every soldier has to be able to pass every single one of their grueling physical tests including swimming 1,000 meters in less than 23 minutes and holding one’s breath for at least a minute!
