As I arose in the early hours of the morn.
And opened the door of my wooden home,
Out in the trees the sun shone through;
Onto the lakes, like silvery snow.
The dew has settled on the green, green grass
A grey-white blanket of damp green patch;
And cobwebs can be seen, the silvery traps.

Across the lake; I am looking down.

I see the gnats hovering around,
And the fish jump and all is seen.

The ripple, tides turn in;
In towards me.

Looking into the blue clear sky,
I see the cotton wool clouds to the nocturnal moon.
Tall monsters stretch high on up,

Protecting with an aging bark.
Life springs as buds of green;

The life is heard
And seen as a growth of green.
Small insects and animals
Maybe seen if still,
Working their chores
As a usual routine.
They feel safe...
In this quiet wilderness.
They are not alone.
Just in peace.

Peace and Tranquillity
