The Stone That Watches
Beneath the ash and elder tree,
A stone awaits with eyes unseen ...
Its surface worn by pilgrim feet,
Its silence steeped in what has been.
The crow above, in spiral flight,
Marks time not by the sun s decree,
But by the breath of those who pause
To ask what truth they dare to see.
A voice within the wind replies:
Not all who walk must choose the way...
Some stand, some kneel, some turn to clay,
And some become the stone that stays.
So I remain, not out of fear,
But to become the watcher s grace...
To hold the names, the tears,
The songs that echo through this sacred place.
