Place That Knows Your Name was written to give the impression of a whispered elegy woven into the hush of a sacred grove, a place where memory is not static but alive, listening and gently leaning toward the beloved. The poem s rhythm is designated as being tender and reverent, each line a footstep through a landscape shaped by longing and unfinished love. My intention was  to look at transformation,  of absence into presence; not as a void, but as a becoming. The grove was an exploration in the theme of my new publication as it becomes a mythic threshold, a relational archive where silence holds sacred seeds and the wind pauses in recognition. My closing lines, love is not lost. / It is planted. / It is tended. / It waits. it was an offer not resolution, but ritual continuance. The poem; was to let out an atmosphere of a ceremonial act of remembrance, a place where grief is not buried but cultivated into hope.
