Poem Title: Spiritual Acknowledgment (120)
Date Written: 06.06.25
Author: Nigel G Wilcox
This poem draws on the theme from an earlier poem from a 'divine opportunity missed' (113). Our mistakes at the time may be seen as irreversible in terms of what was said or not said at the time. Over time, by repeating or remembering the events, one can blow the situation out of total proportion, action and words could have been misinterpreted or the message was understood but was at the wrong time, hence the opportunity was missed, for the right reasons. Sometimes one may never get that second chance.
Those that think it is impossible should think again, risk can be worth taking, even if it doesn't turn out to what one expects. At least one knows and can move of with their life. On the other hand one's dream opportunity can come true.
One can be forgiven, however; broken trust can take longer or even a lifetime.
In terms of ‘divine opportunity missed', it is worth the risk to revisit or manifest a new opportunity, if spiritually, it is the Divines wish!
