My Sweet Symphony
I stand upon a cliff
Looking out to sea.
The sky is black
With a reflecting full moon.
Upon the surface of the waters.
As I stare longingly
I dream of flying
And landing upon
The sparkling ice rink
And skating,
With an orchestra playing sweet symphonies,
Few silhouettes of gulls
Fly before me
And glide gracefully;
I hold out my hand
To greet them...
My dream is popped like a bubble.
A so called wild pony seeks company.
I turn my page
To return again tomorrow.
