The pastures green,
Below the meadow brook.
A picture seen in a memory past,
Outside my window
A different scene.
A concrete jungle in its' grey, white dust.
In observing closer
Nature does play.
The domestic spider
To the birds in their flock...
The stillness of the late evening
And a planet Mars glows brighter,
A mind will drift,
Forgetting true time.
And the shouts of the beasts
Echoed out.
And our vision...
We see in opaque.
The twitter of birds,
And the brush of the wind...
A sweet wrapper scrapes the ground
Touched by an invisible presence...
To remind us, no doubt;
Of Natures existence...
