There are those that live their lives day to day, to make a success regardless of what gets in their way. The attitude of 'dog eat dog', without the understanding and looking at the greater picture long term.
For the want of a kind gesture here and there, multiplied, a person, a community, city, country, the world. Some would also say this is a nieve view or even a cynical view of the world. I can say, look at the world today, the human race is like a bacteria spreading across the land and destroying everything in it's path. One can discuss it, but not ignore it.
