I wear many hats in life, like many of you,. We have elderly relatives, friends and acquaintances and for some they say what is on their mind without apology. There are times however, they are screaming out and cannot be heard. Some listeners are receptive, a majority are not. Some end up ignoring or covering their ears, as a coping mechanism.
Institutionalised, the loss of independence, sometimes a loss of liberty based on illness or another circumstance - an observation.
