It was the British special forces unit that inspired Canada to do the same and one of their best forces is their Joint Task Force 2 (JTF2) elite special operations force of the Canadian Armed Forces. The JTF2 is based at Dwyer Hill, near Ottawa, Ontario and they specialize in immediate response, chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear warfare but mainly focus on counter-terrorism. We don’t know much about their operations because most of them are classified and the government doesn’t talk about them very much!
