3. French Special Forces

They are known as the COS (Commandement des Opérations Spéciales) and the unit was created in 1992, after the Gulf War. They trained in preparedness, which means they can jump into action at a moment’s notice! They are operated by the Special Operations Command and people in Paris have been seeing them a lot more of them since the recent wave of European terrorist attacks. The COS is based in Pau, Pyrenees-Atlantiques and is made up of Army, Navy, and Air Force personnel.
