This flying car company claimed to be the first to successfully pilot a two-seater personal Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft in the United States. Florida-based Doroni Aerospace say their CEO and Founder, Doron Merdinger, took flight in the Doroni H1 prototype in 2023. The company are still on course thanks to the launch of the newer H1-X model they say "stands alone in the eVTOL field, thanks to its pioneering tandem wing setup and state-of-the-art electric ducted fan technology." 40min on a single charge (20m charge time)
