This machine developed by Alef Aeronautics, is one of the most anticipated flying cars, with pre-orders reportedly already being accepted. The California company claim the Model A would be able to drive on roads - but take off to avoid traffic jams. Distinctive design sees porous bodywork hiding four powerful propellers to lift it off the ground. Alef also say they've received a limited FAA Special Airworthiness Certification for the electric vehicle, which adds a reassuring hope this flying car might just take off.
