There are teachers (Common place) that have tried to reinforce discipline within classrooms only to be accused by children of assault when trying to safeguard working pupils from the disruptive ones.  Most of school philosophy is to see the child as the innocent party. The teacher therefore is guilty and then sent to the courts, to only be found not guilty and then having experienced a very stressful situation. In addition to this the teacher is then subjected to having an entry placed on their Enhanced DBS, in 'police speak' by the Chief Cunstable using phrases suggesting  doubt on the teachers employability. This highlights another problem. If the teacher is found not guilty, why is there a need to place anything on a DBS?  All details are recorded on the police database as reference.  - This sends the wrong message concerning the teacher; trying to establish the required authority needed for the situation within the classroom. A  teacher is only trying to do their job and encourage moral behavioural standards.
What message is the Government sending out?  What standards, disciplines are allowed? Or is it all about political correctness and votes now?

The children or pupils have been given the powers in most cases beyond their years.  It is like handing over a loaded revolver to a baby. The parent and the schools need to be given back the powers. This strong message needs to be emphasised and acted upon, or there will be more anarchy in the schools, more so than there is now.
Risks in the Classroom - This also needs to be taken into account
