Some may argue, why another socket set? This is a smaller general purpose and very portable and very cheap socket set, easy to transport and aimed at the small DIY job e.g. disconnecting battery lead terminals or unbolting something in the home. You may get the odd neighbour requiring some help, convienently leaving their toolkit in the shed, this kit saves the hassel of lumbering heavy kits to do a simple job and a kit to recommend to the neighbour, especially when they may pick yours up by mistake, this has also happend in the past (however that will not happen again)...
For the price of these kits, one can have two or three of them floating around the shed, garage, home, conveinently laid out and housed within its own personal security marked labelled case.
Update: I purchased another 2nd cheap kit in black, mainly to house in the car boot/trunk for on-the-road maintenance with the larger set.
A set of extension bars, ideal for accessing hard to reach nuts/bolts and goes without saying a good addition to the above mentioned kit. May get a set of 3/8, pending....
