I had decided that this task was more suited to an Octopus with a strength of a Gorilla, with a mind for multi-dimensional pulley dynamics... I must have become one in amongst the mist of blue. The belts were eventually on, mainly through desperation and possibly down to spiritual intervention. Tension in the pully close to the Alternator can be extreme and may require an extension bar to reduce it, so the belt can slip on easier (*Update: - Feb 2015 ordered an extention bar). It was just left for the bits and pieces to be re-attached or re-fastened and the Job was done! The job took about 2 1/2 hours - with the fan, radiator in place, the job is definately doable!.
Having the correct tools can speed up the job, well possibly help at least....
