Even though the Imperial/AF/British Standard Whitworth spanners are now becoming obsolete in place of the combination metric spanners and ratchets, there are always times when one needs to fall back to the old sizes. These spanners are now increasing in value and cost, especially if you are replacing them for a reason, based on theft, it may be worth cleaning the ones you may and give them a little more care and attention with plenty of security, this is what I intend to due from this point on...  "Don't lend them out or leave them lying about." ...

A little on the pricey side, however managed to make an acceptable offer for these six spanners. They can be seen as twelve spanners as each of the rings are of different sizes. These type of spanners representing the Imperial/AF are now sought after, so do expect to pay silly money for them unless you can find an offer or can negotiate. I have seen sets of five and six go for over £100 a set.
