Vice grips or mole grips are a useful tool for the mechanic as it can lock onto a component or lock onto a particular position or hold two objects together, very much like an extra hand. This set is heavy duty and they can come in a variety of shapes and sizes. I sware by mine, when I can find them, hence the purchase of a set for the toolbox..
